There is something about tree branches growing out of places other than the ground/a tree trunk, that make for a totally awesome photo! This one is no exception, if you ask me.

This is in Israel on the border of Lebanon. Though the border is peaceful, it is not friendly. At this point you are well within the view of the people watching from the tower just inside Lebanon’s border. I got the opportunity to plant a kiwi plant right in their line of vision. It was an exhilarating experience, to say the least.

This might be my favorite photo I’ve ever taken. When I went to the Taj Mahal I had hoped to get this epically amazing photograph of the Taj, and its reflection perfectly visible in the water below. Sadly, when I went, it was raining and that photo was not even close to possible. When I went to the Dead sea, I was able to get that totally awesome effect. How cool is this photo? The water’s reflection is so peaceful and the color of the mountains in the sunlight is just gorgeous. I’m so proud of this one.

From the black and white to the shadows, this photo is freaking sweet. That is my sister and I giving peace signs, and I think the downward angle of the photo makes it pretty cool!

This photo of the papyrus plants is unique for a few reasons. I love how clear the plants in the front are, while the ones in the back completely blur together. Does this make anyone else think of that Dr. Seuss book?

This view of the water is only made more beautiful from this windowsill’s divisions. Sometimes, imperfections make for the best photos.

This photo was nothing special, until I edited it. Adjusting the shadows and sharpness made the sky look pretty cool. And, I love that you can tell the photo was taken through a window, it gives the photo a “fake” feel.
*EEK– I was just reminded that I didn’t take this photo, a friend did and then I edited it! SORRY KEV, THANKS!!

This one is kind of cheating, because it’s just a photo I took of a mural. But, it’s about the city of Philadelphia, which I freaking love, and I think it’s awesome. So I don’t care.

All those boats lined up like that. It’s perfect.
