In my first post (Ten Things I Like: Take One) I explained a little bit about myself and how I am the things I like. Sorry for repeating myself, since I know you know all of this already since you are so obsessed with my blog and remember every word like it’s your bible. Hehe. Anyways, every Friday I’m going to post 10 photos that I’ve taken that I like. Since pictures were at the top of my list, this seems appropriate. You know what they say, a picture’s worth a thousand words…
Please Note: I was recently given a Canon Rebel T3I by my amazballz boyfriend <3 so some of the newer pictures will be way better quality than the older ones I took on other shitty cameras, but that isn’t always what makes a good picture.

A randomly beautiful sunset while I was shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond. I remember coming out and seeing this and just knowing I had to take a picture. I actually got yelled at by a weird lady who thought I was taking her photo. Anyway, this picture isn’t perfect, but I think that adds to its beauty. Look at the way its like looks like it’s coming from the sky…

A random beach in the middle of Pennsylvania (yea, that’s right). I went to grab a snack and looked back and saw my friends (a couple at the time) just so intent on their books. I felt like I needed to document it, and I’m glad I did!

While scuba diving in Roatan, Honduras I took many photos that sure didn’t end up coming out as clear as this one. It’s an up close and personal shot of a sea slug just chillin. Holla!

At a national park in Israel our tour guide casually told us, “Oh, these are Papyrus plants.” I took a closer look and thought they were pretty cool and then I snapped this cool shot to prove it.

When the Phils won the World Series in 2008 a few of my friends and I ventured home for the parade. We got special privileges and watched the craziness from a rooftop. My friend picked up her boyfriend and I saw a photo-opp. Add a nice vintage coloring and this one’s a keeper!

A piece of Chihuly Art that I saw in an exhibit. His stuff is amazing, if you ever see an exhibit near you it’s definitely worth a look! The prefect reflection on the black table it sat on made this picture absolutely stunning.

On a tour of a Kibbutz (for all you gentiles reading this, a Kibbutz, according to my fav site wikipedia, is a collective community in Israel that has been traditionally based on agriculture) I saw these 3 boys playing. As they saw my dad approach with a video camera, they dropped what they were doing and came running. As they fought for the attention of my dad’s video camera I secretly snapped this gem. Love it.

An amazingly peaceful view in St. Maarten. This picture doesn’t even look real, but I swear it is!

In Siem Reap, Cambodia I was looking for the best deals on DVDs. What I didn’t realize is that, while on this search, I’d stumble upon these two absolutely adorable munchkins. After this snapshot the boy whipped out a shit load of bootleg DVDs so I’d say this night was quite a success.

Digital macro is a fabulous feature that most digital cameras have and most people don’t even know how to use it. Take a moment to check it out and you’ll find that the most random things around you can make the most fabulous pictures. This grasshoper’s unfortunate demise came on the front grill of the van I was riding in while on a Safari in South Africa. Little did I realize that one of the best pictures I’d take of wildlife on that trip would be a little dead bug!
What do you think of my photos? Let me know in a comment below!
